This program responds to the growing need for learning that improves outcomes while strengthening engagement, belonging, and community connection.
The program supports schools to start or strengthen their Two-Way Learning journey, providing clear evidence of culturally responsive practice, community engagement and student engagement. All programs are built to align to both your schools and system priorities supporting PSR documentation and review conversations.

How the program was developed
Your Virtual World was developed through practical work with regional and remote schools, responding to real challenges with proven, in-school solutions. The program integrates student, staff, and community voice with immersive VR experiences through a two-way learning approach, strengthening engagement, connection, and learning relevance.
Piloted in Term 2, 2024, the program was delivered with the support of Australian Schools Plus and Airborne IT. Six schools across regional Western Australia participated, helping refine a culturally responsive, VR-enabled learning program now designed to scale nationally.
About Airborne IT
Airborne IT specialises in delivering essential technology services to remote communities across Western Australia. Their unique Aero IT capability (IT specialists who can also fly planes) ensures uninterrupted support anytime, anywhere.
Their mission is to bridge the digital gap by introducing Virtual Reality to remote areas, empowering Aboriginal and remote students and creating new pathways for success.
